We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Bury - AP - Family Safeguarding Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to families in need within the Bury area.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for families to ensure the safety and well-being of children Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support to families Delivering evidence-based interventions to address safeguarding concerns and promote positive outcomes Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings as required Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience working within a similar role, preferably within a family safeguarding team Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with families and professionals effectively Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment
