We are currently looking to recruit 3 experienced Agency Family Court Advisors (FCAs) to join the CAFCASS Private Law team based in Leeds. This is a full-time opportunity.

We actively welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds to ensure our workforce reflects the children and families we support.

Key Details:

Based in Leeds, covering the wider West Yorkshire area

Full-time roles (agency contracts)

Working within Private Law only

Supporting West Yorkshire's transition to the Pathfinder Pilot

Completing Section 7 Reports and Safeguarding Letters under the Child Arrangement Programme

Carrying out home visits across West Yorkshire

Direct work with children

Report writing and attending court as needed

Required to attend the Leeds office at least twice a week (including for team meetings and group supervision)

Requirements:

Qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration

Strong and up-to-date report writing and court skills

Good understanding of risk assessment and risk management

Experience and knowledge of the impact of domestic abuse on children

Previous experience in private law work preferred
