Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in Mass Participation Events and have a real passion in making a difference? Eden Brown Charities is delighted to be working in partnership with an incredible leading UK Charity to find them a Challenge Events Manager to deliver a portfolio of events through effective acquisition campaigns and exceptional supporter experiences.

About the role

As Challenge Events Manager (DIY) you will lead a dynamic team and work closely with the Head of Mass Participation to support your team to develop and deliver multi-channel marketing plans as well as developing effective stewardship plans. You will work closely with the Challenge Events Manager to ensure that opportunities are maximised as well as proactively research and identify opportunities to grow the portfolio, monitoring the market and sector trends.

About You

To be successful in this role you must have;

*Experience of successfully delivering DIY and open challenge events programmes including recruitment of participants, development of supporter journeys and stewardship communications to meet projected income

*Experience leading projects and guiding and directing other team members to deliver against objectives

*Understanding of effective marketing channels and techniques for driving participation in DIY and open challenge events via digital channels

*Experience of line managing a team

You will be a passionate fundraiser who is able to build relationships with supporters, manage a number of innovative campaigns and drive forward the strategy for growth and supporter engagement.

About the role

You will be joining a friendly and face paced fundraising team and will be responsible for delivering income from Legacy and In Memory giving year on year. You will develop the Legacy and in Memory supporter care journeys as well as support the Individual Giving Manager with the development of legacy marketing and in memory fundraising activities.

You will project manage Legacy Marketing campaigns as well as lead and develop the "Free wills month" campaign. You will work with the wider fundraising team to steward in memory supporters and maximise in memory giving. You will also deliver in memory events with the fundraising team.

About you

To be successful in this role you must have had experience in either a Legacy or in Memory fundraising role with a proven track record of delivering income and delivering supporter care journey's. You will have experience of working with a CRM as well as analysing complex data.

The role

As Head of Income Generation, you will be leading the team and focus on increasing income across a number of different income streams including Corporate, Community, Events, Membership, Legacy, Individual Giving, Trusts and Philanthropy. There is also an incredible opportunity to develop Birmingham Dog's Home retail offering. You will also lead on Communications and ensure that you are raising the profile of the Charity within the Midlands.

You will lead on the strategy as well as working closely with the SLT to ensure, lead and direct the fundraising, commercial and new business by providing leadership, coaching and setting priorities and targets.

About you

The Head of Income Generation will be able to demonstrate;

Experience in a senior fundraising role previously and have led on both implementing and devising a fundraising strategy.Experience in leading a team and working towards targets.Experience in leading on commercial activities specifically retail is desirable.You should have an interest in animal welfare and experience of developing suitable market research and testing plans. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.

This role will be a hybrid role with 1 or 2 days spent at home and the rest of the time will be spent on site in Solihull. Please note that there will be travel across Birmingham Dog's Home Sites. First stage interviews will take place week commencing 16th June and second stage interviews will take place week commencing the 23rd June.

The role

As Community Fundraiser you will build and develop fundraising relationships in the community, by providing excellent stewardship and support to Fundraising Groups and volunteers, in order to increase income and deliver the agreed Community Fundraising strategy.

You will work across the region to both identify, research and form new fundraising groups in the community by organising community days and meeting potential volunteers face to face. You will also create and deliver an annual volunteer recruitment plan to grow numbers of volunteers in dedicated roles.


About You


As a Community Fundraiser you will be an incredible relationship builder with good communication skills. Although it is desirable you will have had some experience in the Charity sector, we are also open to people with transferable skills who would love to start a career in fundraising. Working towards targets is also desirable.


This role is remote with travel across Staffordshire, Shropshire and the Black Country. Please note that you must be a car driver with access to a car. The closing date is the 18th May. This role will oversee the administration of legacies, drive the growth of the charity's Free Wills programme, steward legacy pledgers, and expand in memory fundraising.

The Legacy and In Memory Manager will also ensure supporter journeys, audience insight and effective targeting are at the heart of the charity's programme, working with the Individual Giving and Development Lead to create impactful marketing campaigns across a variety of channels.

You will play an important part in raising awareness of the importance of wills to a wider audience.

About You

As a Legacy and In Memory Manager we would love you to have experience of the following
-Proven experience in legacy and/or in memory fundraising within the charity sector.

- Good understanding of charity legacy administration, probate law, and regulatory
requirements.

-Experience in developing and delivering fundraising plans with measurable outcomes.

-Experience in line management, with the ability to support and develop a team effectively.

This role is Hybrid with some homeworking available and time spent in the Head Office near Telford. There will be some travel across the regions and to the Head Office for meetings.
