New Opportunity - Child Protection Chair & LADO | Derby City 🌟
Pay Rate: £35 per hour (Umbrella)

Are you an experienced safeguarding professional ready to take on a vital role within Children's Services? Derby City Council is looking for a skilled practitioner to manage and lead on Child Protection Chairing and LADO responsibilities.

Chair Child Protection Conferences, Strategy Meetings, and other safeguarding meetings in line with statutory duties.

Co-ordinate and oversee investigations into allegations against staff, carers, and volunteers as part of the LADO function.

Work closely with senior leadership to implement robust systems and quality assurance processes across the safeguarding partnership.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, procedures, and statutory guidance.

Lead and contribute to audits and policy development within Children's Services.

Proven experience in safeguarding, child protection, and LADO procedures.

Ability to confidently chair multi-agency meetings.

Strong understanding of statutory frameworks and best practice in children's social care.

Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
