Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Join our Children's ASW - CIC Team in Coventry and play a vital role in supporting and safeguarding vulnerable children. We are seeking a qualified social worker who is committed to providing high-quality care and support to children in care and their families.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans that prioritize the well-being of children. Working collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Managing a caseload of children in care, ensuring their needs are met through effective interventions. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
