We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's FCA (Family Court Advisor) to join our team at Cafcass. As a vital member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to family courts to help them make informed decisions about the welfare of children.

Key responsibilities and duties of the Children's FCA role include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families involved in court proceedings Developing and implementing effective plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of children Providing high-quality reports and recommendations to support court proceedings Collaborating with various professionals, including social workers, legal representatives, and healthcare providers Attending court hearings and representing the best interests of children

The essential qualifications and skills required for this position are:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in child protection and family court proceedings Registration with Social Work England or equivalent regulatory body Strong communication and advocacy skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities

In addition to the qualifications and skills mentioned, candidates should demonstrate a commitment to promoting the rights and well-being of children. Experience working within the legal system or with vulnerable populations is highly desirable.
