Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families? CAFCASS is seeking a qualified Children's FCA to join our dynamic team in London. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with children involved in family court proceedings, ensuring their voices are heard and their welfare is prioritized.

As a Children's FCA, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and preparing reports for court, focusing on the needs and best interests of the child. Building trusting relationships with children and families to gather essential information and insights. Collaborating with legal professionals, local authorities, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive care plans. Representing the child's perspective in court hearings and advocating for their rights and needs. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families throughout the legal process.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and family court work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to assess complex situations.
