We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Family Court Advisor (FCA) to join our team in Portsmouth at Cafcass. As a vital member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and guidance to children and families involved in the family court system.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting thorough assessments and investigations to understand the needs and circumstances of children and families. Providing expert advice and recommendations to the family court to ensure the best interests of the children are prioritized. Developing and implementing care plans and interventions to support positive outcomes for children and families. Advocating for the rights and welfare of children throughout the court process. Collaborating with a range of professionals, including social workers, legal professionals, and healthcare providers, to ensure holistic support for families.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to assess complex situations and make informed recommendations. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
