We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Practice Development SSW to join our CIC Team in Slough. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting and advocating for children in care, ensuring their well-being and development are prioritized at all times.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care Working collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to provide holistic support Advocating for the best interests of children and ensuring their voices are heard Participating in case reviews, meetings, and court hearings as required Providing emotional support and guidance to children and young people in challenging situationsEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services Registration with Social Work England Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policiesAdditional requirements or benefits:
