We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our CIC Team in Newcastle. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care Participating in case conferences and reviews to ensure the best outcomes for children Working collaboratively with other professionals, including health and education professionals, to support children's wellbeing Providing direct support to children and families, including counseling and advocacy Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and best practice guidelines

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services Registration with Social Work England Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a demanding caseload Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
