Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Rochdale's Children’s Social Work Team (CWD) is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with children with disabilities and their families to promote their welfare and ensure their needs are met within a supportive framework.
As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
