As a key member of our Adoption Team, you will be responsible for a range of duties that include:

Assessing the needs of children and prospective adoptive families to ensure suitability and readiness for adoption. Conducting comprehensive home studies and preparing reports for adoption panels. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families throughout the adoption process. Collaborating with other professionals, including health and education services, to create a holistic support network. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in adoption.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and adoption services. Strong assessment and report writing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.

Key responsibilities include:
