We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment & Safeguarding Team in North East Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. You will play a vital role in assessing the needs of children and ensuring their safety and well-being within the community.
As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and families. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to relevant resources and services.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and professionals.
