Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families? Join our dynamic Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Devon, where you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in need. We are seeking a qualified social worker who is committed to delivering high-quality assessments and interventions that make a difference.

As a member of our Assessment Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying their needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Engaging with children and families to build trusting relationships and ensure their voices are heard. Providing expert advice and support to colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Keeping accurate and up-to-date records in line with local authority policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure, managing a varied caseload.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Kinship/Assessment Team in Devon. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to children and families within the community.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting thorough assessments to determine the needs and risks of children in kinship care Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being and safety of children Working collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and other relevant meetings Providing advocacy and support for children and families to access appropriate services and resources

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Experience working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
