We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's SW - Assessment/Kinship Team in Bolton. In this vital role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to children and families, ensuring their welfare and safety. Your expertise will contribute to the development of tailored care plans and the promotion of positive outcomes for children within the community.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and family dynamics. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to decision-making processes.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and kinship care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
