Join our dedicated Children's Social Work (C&F Team) in Gloucestershire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in our community. Your expertise will help us provide high-quality support to vulnerable children, ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing tailored support plans. Conducting home visits and engaging with families to build trusting relationships. Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and interventions. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all interactions and progress. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in child protection and welfare.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registered with Social Work England. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Proficient in case management systems and report writing.

Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work - Children & Families Team in Gloucestershire, where your expertise can make a significant difference in the lives of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring they grow up in a safe and nurturing environment. We are looking for passionate individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality social work services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks of children and families. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes. Collaborating with external agencies, including schools, health services, and law enforcement, to ensure comprehensive support.
