Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and young people. Carrying out statutory duties in line with legislation, ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures. Providing support and guidance to families, fostering positive relationships to promote stability and well-being. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of services that support children in care. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and reflective of the child's journey.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly within a looked-after children or care context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
