We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to support our Child Protection (CP) team. In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans to address the needs of vulnerable children. Working closely with families to provide support and guidance, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Managing a caseload effectively while maintaining accurate records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Providing advice and support to foster carers and adoptive families.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly within a child protection context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
