We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work (CSW) Team in Bedford. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to ensure the well-being and safety of vulnerable children in our community.
As a Children's Social Worker, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual family situations. Working closely with other agencies to provide comprehensive support services. Managing a caseload effectively while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Participating in court proceedings and providing evidence when necessary.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, with a strong understanding of child protection legislation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
