We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our CWD Team in Blackburn. As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children with disabilities and their families.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support and intervention to ensure the well-being and safety of children. Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments. Advocating for the rights and best interests of children with disabilities within the legal framework.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child protection and disability services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment.Additional requirements and benefits:
