Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities? Rhondda Cynon Taf County is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Disabled Children's Team. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that the needs of disabled children are met, their rights are upheld, and their voices are heard.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of disabled children and their families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are informed about available resources and services. Working closely with education, health, and social care services to promote the best outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registered with Social Care Wales. Experience working with disabled children and their families, preferably in a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
