Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work - Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Bury, where you will play a crucial role in protecting and supporting vulnerable children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will engage in a dynamic and collaborative environment, working alongside various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our community. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing ongoing support to families in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing effective intervention strategies in collaboration with multi-agency partners. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive case records and documentation. Participating in team meetings, case discussions, and supervision sessions to enhance service delivery. Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members and students.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
