Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Leicestershire as a Qualified Social Worker within the Post Order Team. In this rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in supporting children and families who are navigating the complexities of post-order arrangements. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that children’s needs are prioritized and that they receive the support necessary for their well-being and development.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments and reviews of children and families to inform post-order support plans. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to children’s care. Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them to understand and navigate the post-order process. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.To succeed in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in post-order contexts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
