We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Safeguarding Team in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. You will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring that their needs are prioritized and addressed effectively.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of children in need, ensuring timely interventions and support. Working closely with partner agencies to coordinate services and resources for families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
