We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Stockport. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people at risk of harm or neglect.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and investigations into child protection concerns Developing and implementing care plans to support vulnerable children and families Working collaboratively with partner agencies to coordinate support services Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required Providing advocacy and support to children and families throughout the safeguarding process

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
