We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Team Manager to join our Safeguarding Team in Oldham. This pivotal role requires an experienced social work professional who is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and families within our community. As a key leader, you will oversee a dynamic team of social workers, ensuring that best practices are followed and that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers to deliver high-quality safeguarding services. Ensuring compliance with local and national safeguarding policies and procedures. Conducting regular supervision and performance reviews to support staff development. Collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders to promote integrated services. Managing complex cases and making critical decisions to protect vulnerable children.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
