Join our dedicated Children's TM - Assessment Team in Oxfordshire, where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and enhancing the lives of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable children. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying risks, providing support, and advocating for children’s rights within the community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans that promote the well-being of children. Working collaboratively with other professionals, including health and education services, to coordinate support. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in case conferences and reviews, presenting findings and recommendations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in assessment and intervention. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding policies.
