We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Children's TM - Corporate Parenting Team in Devon. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families within the care system.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertake assessments and create care plans for children in need of support Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children and families Provide direct support and guidance to children and young people in care Participate in court proceedings and represent the interests of children in care Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of care plans to ensure effectivenessEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment and case management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex casesIn addition to the essential qualifications and skills, candidates with experience in child protection, court work, and looked-after children services will be highly desirable.
