We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Team Manager to join the City of Wolverhampton Council's Children's TM - CWD Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of social workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Manage and supervise a team of social workers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective casework and interventions. Oversee the assessment and planning of services for children and families, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and appropriate manner. Monitor and review case files to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards. Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to safeguard children and promote their well-being.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a children's social care setting. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners.Additional requirements or benefits:
