We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Locality Team in Walsall. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need within the local community.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children. Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews as required. Providing support and guidance to children and families to promote their well-being and safety. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload. Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to professional standards.Additional requirements or benefits:
