Bolton Council is seeking a Deputy Team Manager to join their Assessment Service, a key part of the borough's Front Door response. The service handles referrals from the Integrated Front Door regarding children at risk of significant harm, requiring timely and thorough assessment and intervention.

In this role, you will work closely with the Team Manager to support, supervise, and guide a team of Social Workers. You'll help ensure high standards of practice are maintained across the team, overseeing statutory work including:

Section 47 enquiriesChild and Family AssessmentsInitial Child Protection ConferencesIssuing Care ProceedingsPublic Law Outline (PLO) processes

You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding children, ensuring quality and compliance through supervision, audit, performance monitoring, and promoting professional development.
