As a key member of our MASH team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in our community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks. Collaborating with partner agencies to gather information and develop effective safeguarding plans. Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders in safeguarding matters. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legislation and best practices. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding, preferably within a MASH environment. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex cases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
