Job Title: Adults Occupational Therapist
Location: Dorchester, Dorset
Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time (37 hours per week)
Pay Rate: Up to £35.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Working Pattern: Hybrid / Remote with county-wide travel
About the Role:
We are recruiting an experienced Adults Occupational Therapist to join the Home First Team in Dorset. The service has expanded due to increased demand in hospital discharge support, reablement, and active recovery pathways.
You will work closely with health and social care partners to support timely discharges, promote independence, and improve outcomes for adults across the county. The role requires travel across Dorset as part of a county-wide integrated service.
Key Responsibilities:
Support hospital discharge and reablement pathways
Complete community-based OT assessments and interventions
Work collaboratively with health and social care professionals
Promote independence and strengths-based practice
Contribute to multi-disciplinary decision making across the Home First model
Requirements:
HCPC/SWE registered Occupational Therapist
Minimum 3 years post-qualified UK experience
Enhanced Adults DBS (can be arranged)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Strong knowledge of OT models, frameworks, and legislation
