Team Manager required for work within the Care Leaving Service in the West Dorset area. Candidates will be working in the Locality Team. Contract for 3-6 months but will extend. £47.50 ph . Hybrid/remote working. 30 hours per week.
Purpose of the Role
To lead and manage the Care Leavers Team, ensuring high-quality support is provided to young people aged 16-25 as they transition from care to independent adulthood. The role is responsible for delivering positive outcomes in accommodation, education, employment, health, and wellbeing, while meeting statutory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and support Personal Advisers and team members.
* Oversee pathway planning and support services for care leavers.
* Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified and managed appropriately.
* Promote Dorset Councils Corporate Parenting responsibilities.
You will be SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
