Eden Brown Synergy are working with a Local Authority in Berkshire who are looking for an experienced Senior Management Accountant on a fixed term contract.
The role is full time, to start ASAP and paying a salary of £52,414 - £57,870 per annum (depending on experience.
The fixed term contract on offer is 12-18 months.
The Authority offers hybrid working of 2 days on site and 3 days at home.
Purpose of the role
Support the delivery of a comprehensive suite of professional financial business partnering services including strategic financial advice, specialist, and technical financial support, supporting services with financial and resource management, grant & internal financial control management and support the compilation of Statutory Annual Accounts.

Essential Qualifications
Degree-level, equivalent relevant professional qualifications or expertiseQualified or actively working towards Professional accounting qualifications, CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalentEssential Technical Skills
Good IT skills including office and accounting software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and ExcelAble to interrogate & analyse data and informationPresentation skills, able to engage an audience. Well-developed written and verbal communication skillsEffective strategy and report writing skills, able to make recommendations for decision makingEssential Knowledge
Experience of successfully resolving complex issues that require an element of judgementExperience of identifying, developing and delivering opportunities for improving the serviceSupport and challenge the service to deliver service improvement & decision makingEssential experience

Mental Health Rehabilitation Service
Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join a specialist mental health rehabilitation service in London on a 6-month maternity cover contract.
The service supports men and women with enduring mental health conditions, complex needs and addiction issues. Many service users may have a forensic history or be detained under the Mental Health Act.
The successful candidate will join an established Occupational Therapy team and manage a defined caseload, delivering assessments, therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation programmes aimed at improving independence and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a designated occupational therapy caseload within the service.
Complete occupational therapy assessments and develop treatment plans aligned to care plans.
Facilitate group and individual occupational therapy interventions.
Plan and deliver therapeutic activities aimed at improving daily living skills and social inclusion.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support recovery and discharge planning.
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants where required.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to care planning meetings.
Requirements
HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist.
BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience.
Experience working within mental health or a similar rehabilitation setting.
Knowledge of occupational therapy assessments and outcome measures.
Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
Ability to manage a caseload and work within a multidisciplinary team.

The service provides rehabilitation support for adults with complex mental health needs, including those with forensic histories or detained under the Mental Health Act. The focus of the service is to support individuals in developing coping strategies, improving life skills and progressing towards independent living.
