Job Title: Adult Social Worker
Team: Coordination and Review Team
Location: London Borough of Bromley
Rate: £32 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days in the office)
Contract Length: Until 4th July 2025
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently looking for an experienced Locum Social Worker to join the Coordination and Review Team. This team undertakes annual reviews of residents in receipt of adult social care services, oversees Extra Care Housing admissions (both short stay and permanent), and conducts safeguarding enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out statutory Care Act reviews

Managing safeguarding enquiries under Section 42

Supporting admissions into Extra Care Housing

Keeping up-to-date records on social care systems

Meeting performance targets and working efficiently in a hybrid model

Candidate Requirements:
Social Work England registration

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)

Previous experience in adult social care, particularly reviews and safeguarding

Strong IT and case recording skills

Sound knowledge of the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
