? Adult Social Worker - Learning Disability Team | Bromley Council | £32p/h | Hybrid Working
Location: Bromley Civic Centre & Home (Hybrid)
Contract: 3 months
Hours: Full Time - 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: £32 per hour
Team: Adult Learning Disability Team
The Role:
Bromley Council is seeking a dedicated Locum Adult Social Worker to join their Adult Learning Disability Team on an initial 3-month contract. This is a hybrid role, combining office-based work at the Civic Centre with remote working.
As part of this busy and supportive team, you will carry out Care Act assessments, MCA assessments, safeguarding enquiries, CHC, Court of Protection work, and annual statutory reviews. You may also take part in managing duty and longer-term case work.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake strength-based Care Act assessments and reviews
Complete Mental Capacity Assessments (MCA)
Handle safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments
Work with clients with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism
Provide support to unpaid carers
Record and maintain high-quality case notes and reports
Collaborate with partner agencies and health professionals
Requirements:
Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration
Experience working with adults with learning disabilities/autism
Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014, MCA, DoLS, and safeguarding
Strong communication and IT skills
