Erewash North Adult Social Work Team in Derbyshire is seeking a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our busy and supportive Generic Adult Care Team, based in Ilkeston. About the Role: In this key role, you will: Complete Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews for adults with complex needs. Arrange care and support services to meet eligible needs. Work in a person-centred and strengths-based way with adults and their families to promote and maintain independence. Undertake safeguarding enquiries and mental capacity assessments in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Participate in a duty rota, which is office-based. Working Arrangements: Induction: You will be required to attend the Ilkeston office daily for the first two weeks. Hybrid Model: After induction, working arrangements will be hybrid, combining home and office working depending on service needs. Duty Days: Must be worked from the office. What We're Looking For: Qualified Social Worker with experience in a Local Authority adult care team Skilled in strengths-based practice, safeguarding, and mental capacity assessments Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 Excellent communication and organisational skills Registration with Social Work England If you're a dedicated and skilled social worker looking for a challenging and rewarding role within a supportive team environment, we'd love to hear from you.
