We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Services team in Greenwich. The role focuses on promoting independence, safety, and quality of life for service users through comprehensive assessments, rehabilitation planning, equipment specification, and environmental adaptations.
Pay Rate: Negotiable - Dependent on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with service users, carers, and professionals in a variety of settings
Complete functional assessments and develop person-centred care and support plans
Recommend and arrange necessary equipment and home adaptations
Coordinate reports and present assessments to multi-agency panels
Monitor and manage caseloads in accordance with statutory responsibilities
Ensure all work aligns with council policies, legal frameworks, and professional standards
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
HCPC registration
Experience in community-based occupational therapy and rehabilitation
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and local authority procedures
Excellent communication and time management skills
Professional Standards:
Occupational Therapists are expected to work in accordance with the RCOT Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct and the HCPC Standards of Proficiency.
