Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Worker with a focus on mental health? Haringey Council is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges. In this position, you will work collaboratively with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote mental well-being and ensure access to essential services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individual needs and risks to develop tailored support plans. Providing ongoing support and intervention to individuals experiencing mental health issues. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate holistic care. Advocating for service users to access appropriate resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in mental health settings, with a strong understanding of mental health legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
