Join the dynamic Safeguarding Team in Harrow as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for assessing and addressing the needs of children and adults at risk, ensuring their safety and wellbeing while promoting their rights and empowerment. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and liaising with external agencies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs of service users. Developing and reviewing safeguarding plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in case conferences and statutory meetings to advocate for vulnerable individuals. Providing support and guidance to colleagues and less experienced staff members.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in safeguarding children and/or adults within a social work context. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
