Eden Brown Synergy are delighted to be supporting a public sector Organisation with filling their vacant Employee Relations Specialist role on a full time, permanent basis.
You will be responsible for providing quality expert complex ER case advice guidance and coaching to line managers in the regional or corporate area of the business you are aligned to. By providing an impartial viewpoint you will be able to improve capability, ensuring adherence to our policies and procedures, enabling our managers to be at their best, getting it right first time.
You will have proven experience in the management of complex CR (ER) cases, including TUPE and redundancy consultation. As well you will be an expert with Employment Tribunal, ACAS EC knowledge and experience. Up to date knowledge of employment legislation is required.
This is a regional role, paying up to £70,000 (+ Car Allowance) for the right candidate. The location of all sites can be provided if you can drop your CV on

Engagement Co Ordinator
Eden Brown Synergy are delighted to be supporting an non departmental public body with their vacant Engagement Co Ordinator on a full time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will play a vital supporting role in the regional engagement team, helping the Organisation understand what is happening on the ground for the users across bus, rail and roads. You will work closely with Engagement Managers to build and maintain relationships with operators and authorities, support engagement activity, and help the organisation gather and share insight.
You will contribute to our data‑led approach to identifying issues, support the communication of survey results, and provide local intelligence that helps us pursue improvements for users. You will collaborate with colleagues across the Organisation, ensuring our work is well‑coordinated and rooted in what matters most to users.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Engagement Team in building, maintaining and coordinating relationships with operators, authorities and other regional stakeholdersMaintain and update engagement mapping and prioritisation information in line with the engagement frameworkAssist in sharing findings from survey and insight products with relevant stakeholders.Prepare clear summaries, slides or contextual information to support the communication of resultsPrepare briefings, meeting notes and follow up actions to support consistent, high-quality engagementProduce concise summaries on emerging issues, trends and risks to support team awareness.Contribute to horizon scanning by identifying developing or future issues that may affect usersHelp gather and share examples of good practice identified through regional engagementShare information across regional and central teams (insight, data, policy, communications) to support joined up workingProvide support to projects or thematic issues as requiredFollow agreed engagement processes and contribute to consistent, high-quality standards across the teamThere are currently offices in either London and Manchester. There is an expectation to work out of one of the offices twice a week, the rest working from home. The salary on offer is £36,717 per annum. As an Engagement Manager, you will play an integral role in managing internal and external relationships, to make a positive impact for transport users. You will collaborate with colleagues internally and externally, to help develop and deliver a strategic programme of engagement to address transport related issues and challenges.
With the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively you will contribute to the delivery of Business Plan objectives. You will work cross functionally across the organisation, ensuring there is good engagement with relevant subject matter experts and strong collaboration and co-ordination with other functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Spot issues, understand what's happening on the ground and horizon scan for developments that may affect usersManage and work on multiple projects across modes and themes, to deliver business plan objectivesPrioritise work to deliver the objectives in the Business Plan while also being able to respond to external developmentsCollaborate with colleagues in other teams, particularly Insight and Evidence and Communications and Public Affairs, to deliver maximum impact from the work we doUse influence to achieve objectivesForm effective stakeholder relationships / networks and look for / be open to opportunities for industry partnerships and alliancesUse evidence from other organisations to help us achieve our objectivesThere are currently offices in either London and Manchester.
