We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Initial Contact Point Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in North East Lincolnshire. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. You will be the first point of contact for referrals and concerns, working collaboratively with various agencies to assess and respond to the needs of vulnerable children and families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Receiving and screening referrals regarding child protection and family support. Conducting initial assessments and determining the appropriate level of intervention. Collaborating with partner agencies to develop and implement safeguarding plans. Maintaining accurate and timely records of all interactions and assessments. Providing advice and support to families and professionals regarding safeguarding concerns.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families.
