As a Senior Social Worker in the Family Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans that promote the welfare of children. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support for families. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and students, fostering their professional development. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and family safeguarding.
