As a Senior Social Worker in the Family Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans that promote the welfare of children. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support for families. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and students, fostering their professional development. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and family safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
