We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a PART TIME Bracknell Forest - ATM - Fostering in the Qualified Social Work field. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and assessing foster carers to provide safe and nurturing environments for children in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assessments of potential foster carers to ensure they meet the necessary criteria and standards. Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster carers to help them develop their skills and capabilities. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to safeguard the welfare of children in foster care. Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and expertise.Essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting. Complete statutory assessments and provide clear, person-centred psychology advice
Identify and describe strengths, needs, and provisions within set templates
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within statutory timeframes
Engage effectively in person-centred planning with young people, families, and professionals
Quality assure your own reports to meet professional and statutory standards
Essential Requirements:
HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist
Proven experience delivering statutory educational psychology advice
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Excellent written communication skills
Each assessment is funded at 2 days of work, and the pay rate is £570.95
