As a Children's Social Worker within the Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans that prioritize the safety and welfare of children. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including schools, health services, and law enforcement. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
