We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to provide essential support and advocacy for children and families involved in family court proceedings. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the voices of children are heard and their best interests are prioritized in all decisions made by the courts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families, ensuring that their needs and circumstances are accurately represented. Preparing detailed reports for court, providing clear and concise recommendations based on your findings. Building trusting relationships with children and families to facilitate open communication and support. Collaborating with legal professionals, social services, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for families. Participating in court hearings as required, presenting evidence and advocating for the best interests of the child.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (SWE) and a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies. Proven experience in child protection, family law, or related fields. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
