We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult's Social Worker to join our Locality Team in Staffordshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to adults in need of support and protection.
Key responsibilities and duties include:

Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting on behalf of Staffordshire County Council for an Experienced Social Worker to support a dedicated project team focused on conducting reviews of Supported Living Schemes across the county.
? Key Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with area social care teams and commissioning colleagues.
Carry out strengths-based reviews of adults in supported living settings.
Ensure services are aligned with the needs, preferences, and outcomes of individuals.
Apply Care Act principles and other relevant legislation in assessment and review processes.
Promote independence and choice while ensuring safe and effective support planning.
? Requirements:
Social Work England (SWE) registration.
Minimum 2 years of post-qualifying experience in Adult Social Care.
Strong understanding of supported living environments and relevant legislation.
Ability to travel across Staffordshire as required.
Experience in multidisciplinary and multi-agency working.

Job Introduction:
Staffordshire County Council is seeking experienced and passionate Qualified Social Workers to join the First Contact Service - a dynamic frontline team delivering Care Act 2014 compliant assessments through telephone and virtual platforms.
The First Contact Service consists of three dedicated teams who work directly with residents to understand their needs, promote independence, and connect them with appropriate support. The service also provides a single point of access for carers, delivers Assistive Technology, and manages the Quick Fix Fund to ensure timely interventions and support for citizens across the county.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Social Worker in the First Contact Service, you will:
Complete strengths-based, outcome-focused assessments under the Care Act 2014
Promote individual capabilities while developing tailored care and support plans
Engage with residents, carers, families, and professionals to assess needs virtually or by phone
Conduct in-person assessments for all-age carers across the county
Analyse risks and develop strategies to manage or reduce them
Record key findings, decisions, and performance data accurately and in a timely manner
Support access to assistive technology and urgent support mechanisms (Quick Fix Fund)
Work collaboratively with Brokerage and other Adult Social Care teams

The role
As Community Fundraiser you will build and develop fundraising relationships in the community, by providing excellent stewardship and support to Fundraising Groups and volunteers, in order to increase income and deliver the agreed Community Fundraising strategy.
You will work across the region to both identify, research and form new fundraising groups in the community by organising community days and meeting potential volunteers face to face. You will also create and deliver an annual volunteer recruitment plan to grow numbers of volunteers in dedicated roles.
About You
As a Community Fundraiser you will be an incredible relationship builder with good communication skills. Although it is desirable you will have had some experience in the Charity sector, we are also open to people with transferable skills who would love to start a career in fundraising. Working towards targets is also desirable.
This role is remote with travel across Staffordshire, Shropshire and the Black Country. Please note that you must be a car driver with access to a car. The closing date is the 18th May.
