Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with service users and their families. Providing ongoing support and guidance to individuals and their families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Collaborating with health and social care professionals to deliver integrated support services. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult social work, preferably within a community setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.

About the Role
We are delighted to present an exciting opportunity with Cafcass for an experienced Agency Family Court Adviser (FCA) to join a well-established team covering Essex, Southend and Thurrock.
As a key member of Cafcass, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children involved in family proceedings, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests remain at the centre of all decisions.
This role offers the opportunity to work across Work After First Hearing (WAFH), Public Law, and Private Law, providing variety and professional development within a highly supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
As an Agency Family Court Adviser, you will:
