Join our dedicated Children's TM - CWD Team at Achieving for Children, where your expertise in social work will make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in our community. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Qualified Social Worker who is committed to providing high-quality support and intervention to children with disabilities and their families. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of children in accordance with legislation and best practices.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support to children and families, facilitating access to services and resources. Working closely with schools, health services, and community organizations to ensure a holistic approach to care. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with legal and organizational requirements.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
